250 years since Lexington – Revolutionary Stoneham
April 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Discover the stories of tea boycotts, a Minuteman who had a bullet graze his ear, mob protests to run loyalists out of town, (someone loses an eye!) a host of Black soldiers at Bunker Hill, and more stories from Revolutionary Stoneham with local historian Dr. Dolly Wilson.
April 19 is the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington & Concord – the start of the American Revolution, and SHSM, along with the Stoneham Historical Commission and the Stoneham 300th Anniversary Committee are highlighting the stories of some of Stoneham’s role in the conflict.
Doors open at 6:45 pm to view the exhibits, with a short business meeting at 7:15 and the talk at 7:30 pm. The talk is free and open to the public.
