The Cephas, Reed and Yancey Families

Learn about generations of an extraordinary Stoneham family with a host of firsts – sailors in the Civil War and Spanish American War, one of the first African-American state representatives in Massachusetts, a World War II war correspondent who interviewed Gen. MacArthur, Vietnam soldiers who earned two bronze stars, and the first active African-American Massachusetts State Police Trooper.
