Donate to the Stoneham Historical Society

The Stoneham Historical Society and Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Stoneham Massachusetts. We are not financially supported by the Town of Stoneham. As such, we are completely reliant on your generous donations to fund our efforts. If you would like to make a donation we have provided you with the opportunity to do so below.

We thank you for your support.

If you would like your donation to go to a specific item, such as items on our wish list, you can let us know in the comments of the donation form.

You can also donate directly to support our Artchiving Stoneham initiative, including funds needed for the restoration of the Gibney mural.

The government permits the following:
People can use a QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution) to manage their RMD (Required Minimum Distribution) from their IRA (Individual Retirement Account). Essentially, a QCD allows individuals who are 70 1/2 years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distribution. This donation is NOT taxed, nor is it included in that donor’s taxable income
