This is the property of Edward and Ida Wadsworth on Main St. and the corner of South St. He owned a poultry farm to sell chicken and eggs in the late 1800’s, and started he started selling ice water and ice cream from his Cafe around the turn of the century. Ironically, this is the same spot of the recently closed, Friendly’s. In his obituary in 1913, it said he had a “refreshment saloon” at the corner of Main and South at the entrance to the Fells”.
