Introducing Cobb

Our New Mascot

Head on view of stuffed goatIntroducing our new mascot, Cobb.  Cobb’s name was chosen after our goat-naming contest and alludes to Stoneham’s heritage as a shoe town of cordwainers and cobblers.

Like other young goats, Cobb likes to play, jump, cuddle and nibble on leaves.  If you help, he’ll even do some yoga with you!

Our selection committee judged the names blind, so had no idea who suggested which entry.

Winner Madeline Panaccione with SHSM President Steve RotondiCongratulations to the winner -Madeline Panaccione of Stoneham. Her entry was inspired by her own family’s involvement in the shoe industry and who were cobblers. Congratulations Madeline!

Madeline received a certificate and a free stuffed goat at our April meeting.  You can also purchase your very own goat in the gift shop.
