Stoneham Historical Society & Museum Scheduled Spring Programs Update

The volunteer Board of Directors of the Stoneham Historical Society & Museum cares deeply about the health and well-being of our community, our volunteers, members and all those who support our programs and events.

As we navigate this ever-changing world of COVID-19, we wish to inform you of some changes to our spring programming while following the guidelines established by our state and federal Officials.

We have postponed the following scheduled events:
Thursday, April 9 – Anthony Sammarco presentation on the rich legacy of the North End
Sunday, April 19 – Monthly Open House and “Research Your Home Day”
Sunday, April 26 – Our fundraiser at the Town Hall featuring Steve Puleo, author of “Voyage of Mercy” (tickets already purchased will be honored or refunded once new event date is determined).

With regard to events scheduled for May and beyond, at this time, we are going ahead as planned but will re-evaluate as we get closer and make adjustments as needed. We are all united in trying to remain optimistic. We encourage you to check for updates on the sign on the Museum front door at 36 William Street; via our recorded message at 781-572-3126; via our email outreach; on our website at www.stonehamhistoricalsociety.org; via our Blog; on our Facebook page and via various Community Pages. Feel free to reach out to us also at stonehamhistory@gmail.com to keep in touch and share your thoughts as we patiently wait for this pandemic to end and ultimately fade back as an historical event only.

As we have done since 1922, we continue to embrace “Pride in our past; Faith in our Future”. Take good care everyone.
