The Stoneham Historical Society & Museum welcomes back Stoneham’s Katy Turner Getty as guest speaker on Thursday, October 10th at 7:15 p.m. Her presentation “Displaced: The Donation People of 1775.” The “Donation People” refers to the thousands of Bostonians who fled the city to the countrysides such as Stoneham and Reading during the British Occupation. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. followed by a brief meeting and the presentation. Family friendly and free!
