Two Olympians Named Nancy
How many towns have two Olympic medalists named Nancy? We’re the only one! Seen in the Tidbit picture are Olympic Figure Skaters Nancy Graham and Nancy Kerrigan at a 1996 Stoneham Historical Society event.
Boston Golf Ball Factory
Did you know that Maple Street once hosted a golf ball factory? The Boston Golf Ball Factory, contrary to its name, was in Stoneham until it closed in the late 1950s.
